Best Buy Mother’s Day Campaign 2021

For Mother’s Day 2021, the brief was to create a graphic based on archetypal representations of the holiday. I explored an alternative approach, looking for a way to visually represent Mother’s Day without being so literal.

I began by deconstructing geometric flower elements from the more literal designs. Even when simplified, the shapes retained a floral feel, allowing me to experiment with different configurations to create a flexible pattern. This pattern could be applied in full, as a section, or even as a single element, giving the design versatility across marketing materials.

Ultimately, the campaign used the literal flower graphic, but my approach offered a strong alternative solution and demonstrated a creative way to extend brand elements while maintaining flexibility and cohesion.
