CSP Spring Magazine

Concordia University has a fall and spring magazine that goes out to all the students, staff, alumni, and contributors to the university. The magazine covers all things that happen at the university, and for this issue, the theme was “life of purpose.” The theme was my inspiration for the pattern seen on the front cover and throughout the magazine. The pattern is made up of visual representations of the ways people featured in the magazine found their “life of purpose.”

Students, faculty, and alumni write all the articles, so collecting and editing the articles was a highly collaborative process. Once we collected and finalized all the articles, I started building the graphics and laying out the magazine. When the magazine was ready to go to print, I oversaw the print process by doing press checks at the printer, walking them through our needs, and approving the final proof.
